The Explora Parc

To practice tree climbing in Saint-Jean de Monts, you have to go to Explora Park . This is a park located in the heart of a forest. The themes are “leisure” and “relaxation”. Explora Parc offers its visitors various activities:

It took several years for the park to develop fully. Today, it is renowned for the quality of its services and for the family activities it offers.

At the Explora Parc, it is possible to practice tree climbing without a time limit being imposed. We do not count less than one ten courses , in total.

 

Difficulty levels are 5 in number. The courses are equipped with secure hooking systems. Therefore, there is no need to worry: the participants cannot unhook themselves and fall heavily to the ground.

Tree climbing courses for children

Several routes have been created so that children can go tree climbing in complete safety. And this, according to their ages.

 

First there is the “Baby course”. It is for children aged at least 3 years old. The height of this course does not exceed 1.5 m. This allows parents to keep an eye on their children.

 

Then there is the “green” course. Two in number, they are accessible to 6-year-olds. Parents can accompany their children throughout this journey.

 

Then you have the “Junior course” . Here, the real fun begins. To access it, the minimum age is 8 years old. The zip line, meanwhile, rises to 250 meters.

 

In fourth position, we find the “teenager” routes. They are accessible to adolescents who are at least 11 years old. The level is a higher one. To finish the courses, the participants will have to show strength and agility.

 

And finally, we have adult courses . They are reserved for those who do not have vertigo. In terms of the popular physical efforts, this type of course is more intense, compared to the others.

The other options

To have a good time, other activities await you at the Explora Parc.

 

First, there is the Snack Bar . Baptized “under the branches”, it is a nice place where you can have a family meal. As its name suggests, the establishment is located just below the trees of the Vendée forest. Suddenly, we have the advantage of tasting good dishes while observing nature.

 

Then there is the “ laser tag “. Mix between paintball and laser game, this game continues to appeal to young and old. It takes place in the middle of the forest and requires several participants.

 

Every time you hit an opponent, you score points. These are displayed on the big screen (along with your remaining lives). The game lasts half an hour. Beginners will be explained by the facilitator the different rules of the game.
