Policies for Bringing Your Dog
At Tropicana, dogs are welcome in our rental accommodations (except TAOS) as well as on our campsites. To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, a few simple rules apply:
- A maximum of 1 dog per campsite.
- Fee: €5 per night per dog during the low season and €7 per night per dog during the high season (July & August); please indicate this when booking.
- Up-to-date vaccination records and identification are required.
- Dogs must be kept on a leash within the campground grounds and are not allowed in the aquatic area.
- Category 1 and 2 dogs: not allowed.
Where can you walk your dog around Saint-Jean-de-Monts?
The campground is bordered by the Pays de Monts national forest: trails under the pine trees start right from the campground and offer shade even in the height of summer. The coastal bike paths can also be explored on foot, with your dog on a leash. On the beaches, dog access depends on the season and specific areas. The reception staff will provide you with a map of the authorized areas upon your arrival.
